Caught a tram out to the Nazi rally grounds & congress building. Walked
around until we found the great road[tm] - 60m wide and a couple of
kilometres long! It was used for parades and propaganda. This was
followed by the museum, though we hadn't left ourselves enough time to
complete everthing. It doesn't help that most museums here have audio
guides in English - just a little handset that you type a number into
and then hold to your ear. It's really detailed and useful - even the
German ones give a lot more information than the plaques on the items...
unfortunately it slows things down, because I read a lot faster than I
can listen, and that's a lot faster than the guides talk. Oh well.

5 hours on the train later (quite comfortable actually - we had reserved
tickets, and had 3 seats to ourselves most of the way, so we could play
cards and laze around a bit) we arrived in Vienna. Robert and Tina (from
usenet again) picked us up and took us back for a few beers. Luckily the
couch was available, so we didn't have to live in the apartment with no
power or hot water. We also met their cats Filou and Medusa!
