We didn't do much today; I think that the pace of travel is catching up
with us... It was certainly nice to not do very much.
We went to one of the two Mozart musuems in Salzburg - one is at the
house where he was born, and the other is where he lived (I think from
age of 14 to 19). They apparently cover much the same material, but the
Lonely Planet said that the one in the house where he lived was better.
So that's where we went.
It was interesting, with audio excerpts of his works on the audio
guide. However the audio giude itself was annoying - you couldn't
control when it started and finished, and had to remain in the one
place with the end of the guide pointed at the transmitter on the roof,
or the explanation would cut out, and you'd have to wait there until
that bit came around again!
After the museum, we took a wander through the Mirabella gardens, very
beautiful, very manicured, very orderly.
We cooked dinner again, and then after dinner we taught Andreas the card
game Bartok (some of you don't know the game: starts like UNO, but each
round winner invents a new rule. Any rule. Absolutely anything...
almost). I think he's still recovering from the 'brain hurt'.
